most of the people i know deal with much older cars than yours, certainly pre any rust prevention. those cars were daily drivers when new i.e. 356 and e-types so not an education or hereasy thing. these cars were used on salted roads and as such are crap. different story with most (not all) Ferraris.

yep.. as I said, salted roads are a killer....

But the majority of Ferrari's are not used on them.

I did use my BB on them extensively all through 98/99, I've been there at 7.30 am  in sub zero temps using hot water to defrost the door rubbers so i can open the door to get in... but I washed the underside regularly..

When it got here (8 years after driven on salted roads), it is still better than many Aussie only cars I've seen.

Case by case is what is needed regarding UK cars... where as Asian cars ALL suffer from humidity degradation.

they really got the TR shape spot on with the 512TR...its all testarossa but with a hint of modernity to the front end and a nice set of rolling stock

errrrrrrrr..........+1?

i don't get when people say a tr or TR or M, for that matter, aren't a good looking car.

they're an icon...they're on the bedroom walls of brazillions of kids (and probably some adults) and have an amazing road presence.

of course, they're no boxer :)

icon. apt description. that and the Countach were my dream cars.

so far this year i've driven Goober's Testarossa and been a pax in the Lambo. only 1 shattered dream - anyone over about 5'6" is fcuked in the Countach.

but the Testarossa was magnificent.
