So, it's finally ready after the transaxle rebuild and major service and engine detail etc.

Bit pissed off that the new throttle cable is not smooth. the old one was just heavy, but smooth. Gunna have to change it AGAIN.

The luggage is with the new owner at present.

Including tappet and head torque. Note, only 4 tappets needed doing and even then, only by one thou.... but I was doing it slightly early re schedule.

Changing the speedo turned into a comical affair....

Firstly, I forgot to transfer the plastic light prism from the old into the new..... So I had to take it out again to do that.

Then when I tested it in the car..... the (factory set) main beam idiot lamp and RH indicator idiot lamp were swapped over.... So, out it came to fix, and in again.

Then, when I drove the car... it didn't work at all! Found the round black plastic connector (just visible in one pic) was wired from factory with all wires of one half of the connector one place out of position!

Typical of factory parts of this nature. I highly suspect this speedo had been fitted into a new car and found not to work, so got removed and boxed for re-sale. This speedo came from UK concessionaire. the Zagame invoice is just a date/time reference to aviod any misrepresentation of mileage in the future.
