This anonymous clan of slack-jawed troglodytes has cost me the election, and yet if I were to have them killed, I would be the one to go to jail. That's democracy for you. - C Montgomery Burns.

It's absolutely beautiful in the flesh.  The red 812 is the launch colour of Rosso Settanta

Sure did!  Those are my photos.

I was at the Geneva Show on the opening day, amazing experience. Definitely better than the Paris Show that I also went to last year

The lines and intakes on the 812 are very sculptured, much more prominent than the F12. Wheels are brilliant too. There are clear styling cues from the F12 - it seems more evolutionary than revolutionary - but also a few from the GTC4 Lusso interestingly. By no means a wolf in sheep's clothing but it's a bit understated compared to the more brash Lamborghini styling. Just a very elegant package all up, pretty typical of front engine V12 Ferraris. It'll turn no shortage of heads whatever colour you get - an F12 would probably appear somewhat dated next to this.

Looked fantastic in Settanta with the black seats but if I wanted a red I would still prefer a Rosso Mugello, Fiorano or Fuoco.
FWIW I think it'd look pretty amazing in a colour like Blu Pozzi or TDF Blue, especially with Beige trim.
