Then honestly, dint let them do anything.

Just because it's free for you, there's no reason to deprive yourself of the car, line their pockets, and end up with inferior end product.

I hope they changed the oil properly... Check the level yourself, and find out EXACTLY what oil they used. If it's shell 5/40 helix, or anything 5/40 for that matter, change it again. Use a full synthetic 10/50 or 15/50.

And yes, as pp said.... Find out if they removed and cleaned the gearbox filter, and what oil did they use.

PIC 1) Challenge drop links. Lube these ups and see if it solves the noises.
PIC 2) Gearbox filter- after being invoiced 3 times for fluid changes to the gearbox !!!!!!!
PIC 3) Sump plug for gearbox- After being billed 3 times for fluid changes to the gearbox !!!!!

Clearly the gearbox oil had never been changed as besides the above evidence, the yellow paint mark/seal applied to the sump plug at the factory had never been broken. Fortunately the car had only done about 9000 km's at the time. NEVER trust the service department to do what you are paying them for.

I'm hoping this one might be a keeper; but I always seem to say that
Still it would be pretty cool for my boys to inherit the first Ferrari that I bought and the last.
