I'm currently tossing up whether to go ahead with my new GTR being delivered in 6 weeks or so, or give my order spot up and get a 360 instead.

The car must be a manual Modena.

Plenty of constructive, albeit negative, information is provided here from people with great inside knowledge.

Does anyone know of any good examples of a 360 up for sale at the moment?

Thanks!

Plenty of them around, go take a look at a few, a test drive an shell out $500 for a PPI and you'll know for sure.

Very different car to a GTR - why the change in heart?
C'mon, do it!

Can't fault it. Ok, maybe the price..

- Perfect colour combo (red/tan)
- Low kms
- Late build so less problems = less $$$$
- Full dealer service history
- Manual

I would jump on it if it had paddles

Wow that is a very expensive example you found there Markis.

Just a heads up from following the market since 2009, a Modena and manual tend to fetch a  lower price than an F1 spider.

If you want looks and the sound get the 360. if you want flat out speed get a gtr. For track use they are both quick, gtr is quicker. Both can be used as daily drivers if you wish, both are easy to drive, 360 only carries 2 people. Gtr comes with warranty as 360 doesn't (although if you know the right people parts and maintenance are pretty cheap).

Good luck
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!

Was Wattens red 360 spider for sale or was that another spider?

Used 360 from a dealer should have at least 3 months warranty. Maybe other states have different laws but in SA it does.

It's definitely Wattens's car...

Same plates. BE-29-PQ, visible from first pic of the advertisement (Scuderia Graziani) and also his thread.

Haha, I'm really NOT a fan of personalized plates but those "PRE NUP" plates are awesome...

No it's $10k difference LESS the stamp duty payable on the private 360 purchase.

360 $210 plus S/D

R8 $219k inc S/D
