.........
Find a car in the UK, get it inspected, pay for it, get it to the ports, then get it shipped to AUs, complied and registered in 6-8 weeks and i'll give you Miranda Kerr for the night. .....

Good one elfy. You don't see me getting my asking price and I don't see you driving something better that cost you less.

I'm not offended, your uneducated opinion means nothing anyway. One post you say 90 + compliance and on roads, next post its 90 all up.  And you guarantee 6-8 weeks, clearly you'be never done it.

Anyway, I didn't realise everyone besides me want to get a nice, quick, Ferrari with a stiff, lightweight chassis then slow it down, weigh it down and make it sloppy hairdresser spec.

Maybe next time I'll think harder about weather I want a nice unique colour combo, stiff, lightweight non hairdresser, 3 pedal driver's car or if I want a boring resale red, boulevard car so I can flog it off easier to people who can't think for themselves re colour choice, let alone heel toe a nice revmatched down shift...

Yes 90k. for a better spec car, better colour, better car for resale, better transmission and more then likely less km then your car and newer year.

It does take 6-8 weeks to bring it in and compliance it. Right now 71 360s are listed for sale and who knows how many others that are for sale and not advertised like i said don't get upset because you paid to much for it to begin with it and want your losses to be minimum but all you are getting is 100k as the days go by the 430's are dropping even further which makes it even harder for you.

Barra ignore elfy, he just sounds like a dealer who deals in wholesale and repo cars that he has forgotten the whole concept of private sales. That or he is an importer who really hasn't done any importing yet

Ok if the car is reading miles for milage, I guess you should put milage and km's in, but why is it still in miles? I definately wouldn't have done that especially when the car has been complied, but it does make it easier to compare books etc. The history and books should be mentioned still unless there are none.

Ignore what fchat australia guys say, they are in their own world sniffing eachothers asses, they are not a representative cross section of Australia's buyers market, they are a minority of old farts in even older cars who have already got their cars and are not looking to buy. Buying something you prefer and buying something with resale in mind are often two very different things as you know. If you were happy with the car while you had it, isn't that all you can ask for? Everything sells, the only variable is time and final price. IMO that blue is a much better colour than silver or that petrol blue colour, but for resale in a reasonable amount of time you have to treat it as a silver car with similar milage, condition, gears etc. If you justify it against a red or black and price it accordingly you will sit on it for a long
time.

However IMO price is still too high if you want it gone anytime soon, all comes down to how desperately you want it gone.  But I definitely wouldn't take elfys advice and put it at $90k, obviously elfy is trying to pick up a super cheap car.

John all the best, I hope it does sell soon for some decent money. You are sitting on an unusual cOlour so you might get lucky and find someone who not only likes the colour, but is also in a position to buy.
Enjoying Life!!!!

I'm fucking sick of imports with dodgy compliance. And I'm sick of the people doing the dodgy compliances.

I'm fucking sick of them calling me asking for parts, or asking for advice (free of course) about how to fix and prep them.

The parts required to PROPERLY comply one cost over $10k, nearer $15k... plus all the labour and fluids etc, plus the compliance agent fee.

I simply tell now people if they want an import, don't even think about getting one unless it's a year into its aussie residency with at least 3000km done here.

I have a client trying to sell his amazing black with red leather 550 maranello, 37k km, AUSSIE DELIVERED, asking $145k, well know fclub owner. It's had ALL the jobs done 550s ever need, including a full dash re-trim, engine mounts, control arm bushes, brakes, it also has been painted for stone chip repairs, it's near perfect, and SO good in black/red, it has the rare and expensive spare wheel and tool kit option, superb ipod/stereo unit upgrade....

Why would anyone buy a 360, when AUSSIE delivered 550s can be had for that kind of money.

If anyone wants THIS 550, call the vic fclub NOT ME.....

oh, It's sold with the original wheels, these wheels pictured are already on another car now.

See ya later elfy, I like what happened when your asked to justify your rubbish input with an example.

That 550 looks nice.  But I personally would buy a 360 over a 550/575...
