Wrong again.

Using GPS to compare, a 458 Speedo is very accurate indeed. Try it.

I have. It's not. Have you?

:boggled:

Notice how one is the aggressor. And the other is just interested in going up the wall....

Is the maximum speed shown on the 458's trip computer the max speed direct from the speedo or from the GPS system?

If it's from the GPS, it's accurate.

Actually, that's not true either. GPS lags quite badly during acceleration.

Wrong again.

It depends on your GPS device.

The vbox is very fast, much faster than typical phone/device.

I'm relying on personal experience and facts and figures. ... you're relying on I have no idea what!

More. .. assuming exit speed of 200kph and accelerating for 700m the following speeds are reached based on that website

458 = 260
Enzo = 268
F40 = 265
Scuderia = 254

^^^^^^all makes sense

Now assume an exit speed of 225, which is very unlikely, the 458 does 269.

Your numbers just don't add up.

It's an interesting discussion though.

^^^^^conversation should have ended here. It's just physics.

Even with a 25kph higher exit speed the max is only 9 kph higher. 30 kph more is just impossible.

There's just nothing more to say.

I'm fairly sure, that like previous models, The speedo displays the average of the front wheels speeds.

Steve was talking about the inbuilt GPS in the 458. Try to keep up.
