At Phillip Island, a 458 road car on R spec tyres can go over 300kmh.

IMO, that's just too damn fast for arriving at turn 1 in the hands of the average man on the street.

At Eastern creek, an F12 has done 304kmh.

I've just sent aircon some comments from a person that has driven at 301kmh at Phillip Island, in a std 458, on R spec tyres, and 304 in an F12 at Eastern Creek.

Let's have a sensible discussion, if possible....

I wonder how fast the Speciale will be.....

I shudder at the thought... Human instinct will hopefully prevail, otherwise Darwinism will prevail.

Yes via sms.

Including this video link, even with compromised lines due to witches hats on the track, and the extra weight/care taken with a passenger, this car hits just on 285kmh......

They're obviously too fast on the road, but at least there, you're making a conscious decision to break the law.

On track, you're doing nothing wrong by going too fast...

There should perhaps be a 270km/h speed limit applied to road cars on tracks, at parts of the lap at least....

Very hard to police, but people need protection from themselves.

You're wrong, based on the info I provided.

Oh, and the evidence.your website links don't take into account all test conditions.
