I'm so disappointed, I started reading that sentence and was expecting it to say its now officially the best 308 in Australia.  :D

Maybe it is! I'm just being humble.

How many have you driven?

How many do I have to drive to say it's the best one I've ever driven?

Here's the engine bay. Some of the mods are obvious. The suspension changes are fantastic. Having a newly acquired slow leak from the left rear tyre, not so great.

Here's a link for anyone else interested.

I recommend it to anyone with a carby car. The difference will astound you....and it's still the best around IMO, and can be made to look stock.

In order to qualify the credibility of your statement, quantity is required.

Why is your distributor installed so far out of central, if the system is fully adjustable. It's just a detail point, but imo, details are important.

So, are you fuel injected now? Tell us about it.

Ok...quantity....just the one distributor. Considering the reason the Aussie cars had two distributors in the first place, which was only because of anti pollution requirements, why would anyone want to keep them with the modern alternatives available? Most of the world had one......two was a bandaid fix to meet air quality regulations, and that's all.

I now have 4 genuine Ferrari 308 distributors sitting in my store room. I reckon they'll never be installed on a car again!

Have Just Bought a 1985 Ferrari GTS Quatro. Found running a little ruff due to only running on 4 cylinders.

Dismantled and found a crack and a large hole in a Distributor also 3 leads burnt out and the rotor shorted. Have temporarily fixed the Dizzy and leads (Glue, part of a coke bottle also leads from a Audi). But I do need a rotor and don't want to wait a month for shipment from overseas.

As a new owner of these fantastic machines would actual like to drive it soon. If anyone has a Distributor rotor or knows of an aftermarket version available in Australia drop me an email. Also if a dizzy is available in Australia would love that two.

Appreciate any help from other owners as there are allot of age problems that need addressing. Electric Widows CV boots all the usual.

Still am Very Happy!
Steve

Every dealer and specialist in the country would likely have a rotor on the shelf.

They last so long with regards to wear, that they usually end up going brittle with heat and aging!

Where are you? Can point you to your nearest outlet.

I have them on the shelf, but I don't sell low cost parts in the mail.
