Just another clear bra convert here. It really makes more sense than leaving it exposed. It is asif exotics are a magnet for stone chips. Although there are clear bras and some have a sort of milky wave effect and you can see the edges. Might be an age related thing though with exposure to UV light over time.

I did whole front up to about half way up the bonnet, behind the wheels and behind the mirrors

(360) All the front (lower bumper area) to half way up the bonnet, back of mirrors, lower leading edges of air intake in front of rear wheel. The film is almost invisable - but whatever you do don;t put metho or any spirit based cleaner near it - it will create permenant smears where ever it touches.

There's a pretty big trend these days to wrap the vehicle with a different colour scheme or secctions in carbon-look-a-like material. I expect it would also provide some protection, though i have not looked into it, or how successfull the removal of wraping is.

I recommend doing the whole bonnet. Apart from the obvious protection, it avoids the seam where the film ends. Trailing edges of wheel arches are a good idea too. Basically,I suggest everything in front of the windscreen.

I won't drive a new car until the bra is on.

Yes there is/was a Yellow Gallardo for sale on Carsales that had the roof done in a black carbon fibre film. Looked very hot.

Yep, full bonnet is the go.

Do the mirrors as well - if that hasn't already been mentioned.


Also, they can put some around the door handles and this stops a lot of scratches that happen around this area.
If they are good, you have to look pretty hard to see it.
