If you consider importing yourself, just keep in mind you'll need to pay 5% duty and 10% gst.
not so sure about that.

if so then to pay 15% over the OS price is still better than paying 100% over the OS price when purchased from a retailer in australia.

100% mark up is too much to stomach.

What about freight (not exactly featherweights if aired) + tax imposts on that?

if you have too much cash then feel free to buy from here.

if not surf a few OS car forums for the right contacts.

it's pretty easy.

U don't need to remind us how ëasy it is to surf" as i'm sure we are well versed in that - point was if you want to compare prices consider ALL factors -  financial and qualitative such as local assistance, back up etc.

997.1 systems added. By far the best value is the Capristo...

There's a Inconel & Titanium system for the 997 for a bargain $15,750 if you want maximum weight savings...

Hey guys

I'm really, really keen to have a capristo exhaust system on my 360 - I've google'd, but to no avail ... can anyone help with Aus dealers or importers, or is it best to buy from the US and ship over?

id caution you against it.. at least prepare yourself for a lot of stuffing around once you play with a ferrari.
I had a capristo on the 430 and had so many issues. Credit to capristo, they replaced it or parts of it 3 times.  I must have wasted 30 hours on it and lost 4k in dealer installs and de-installs though.  sounded great but what a headache.

Considering a trial affiliate arrangement - basically if nobody buys anything from them having heard about it here, AE gets no benefit either, we'll see.

Funny I've sold a few Capristo and I keep myself across what's happening with Capristo globally, and you're the first unhappy customer I've ever encountered.

If anyone wants an alternative to Capristo there is Kreissieg but they are about 30% more expensive and the quality isn't quite on par.
