Yes epoxy pre pregs with a high HDT will stand heat well. You can always apply a glass foil in very high temp areas.
The finish is off the mould no clear coating.

I want to at some point replace my rear brake cooling ducts, there are a few cracks.  Do you think these can be made in CF?

I'm pretty sure they are fibreglass.  The rear wing in period was carbon, so not sure why these weren't made of carbon.
