All is OK.

Clearly not Dean.

I'm really not fishing for work, but it pains me to think you're nervous about driving your car, when there is absolutely no reason to be.

Would you do a track day? If you're too nervous to drive it hard and fast, what a the point of having it.

Either there's something wrong, or the procedure isn't right.

If I am in the area i will bring it around.
Pity you are so far away from me.

Would I do a track day? ....No.

Handling is crap  and so are the brakes (compared to a modern car) and quite frankly i am not that good a driver to take the chance with crap handling and poor brakes.

These things are good tourers and ok in a straight line (for their age).

I was in bayswater today all day. Dorset road. It's 26 minutes from my shop. How far from Dorset/mountain are you?

No Paul p doesn't service my cars.
I have popped in to say hello when I was in the area visiting some clients.

And my car hasn't been to morrabbin  since the initial compliancing.

Both cars get serviced by Dixon Matthews in collingwood because I have a client (which I am also a shareholder) around the corner and I am in the Collingwood office 2 days a week.

Plus Dixon is a great fella.

same ,I always think of the amount of torque needed to tighten 'em up or the need to carry a torque wrench and adapter bar.

The old cars with spin on ,easy just belt them with a copper hammer till tight.

Doing this conversion, would have ADR issues?

When the 1st 997 GT3's were announced i ordered one and asked for center lock nut and was told NO ie ADR,even though the Cup cars had them.
Cancelled the order when the price quoted  and the true price 2 years down the track was out by over 35k.

Just build the torque wrench and a telescopic crack bar in the tool kit this is an ICV build. It is no big deal I have been using single rear nuts for years no ADR problems, every SSSA bike has this set-up.
I will be using an OZ rear wheel as my spare on my RC458 Iíll machine the wheel so it fits the cars retainers, using the OZ 17Ē wheel I donít have any calliper clearance issues it is low dished on the inside and lined up OK when I test fitted it to the car. A lightweight forged alloy wheel with a bike tyre is a good weight saving and perfectly OK to use an emergency tyre, Iím also going to use three air jacks two at the A post and one at the back of the gearbox so I can lift the car off the ground completely just like a race car.
