As for the video - I loved it, but I think it left more on the table than it showed.
I for one am very auralistic - or whatever. He kept saying how great the noise was - but they never featured it! C'monnnnn - I picked up better audio from 360C's F50 with my crappy 5MP digicam like six years ago. Sizzle sells the steak, sound sells the supercar.
I got quite tired of the sideways stuff - as mentioned long ago: http://aussieexotics.com/forum/cars/getting-tired-of-silly-car-reviews-1146.0.html
Sure, get a couple speccy shots, but really I want to see the thing out on the open road - and in traffic amongst "normal" cars, ie - where I would use one were the choice available to me.
My favourite part of sideways footage is always after an almost perfect TRACTIONED corner with *just* a little wiggle on the exit as the power goes down. Gives me goosebumps.
I could listen to Chris and (guest) ramble all night about cars. My favourite teevee show would be all our choice motoring personalities sitting around getting drunk talking about cars, with a little bit of nostalgia footage interjected when they mentioned it.
Chris has manned up - last time I watched one of his vids he was a fit but pudgy fella, now he looks like an ex-Marine. Cool.
Given the opportunity - why wasn't there a direct comparison? Or at least just a couple outright hardcore laps with no blah blah?
Not shitting on the vid, but it frustrated me more than anything by the missed opportunities than what was actually achieved.
