I wouldn't want to cannabalise a 456 for this project unless you are picking out running gear from a wreck. Better off throwing a massive chev donk in it purely for the giggles IMO.

Depends how cheap a 456 can be landed...
C'mon, do it!

Free Broken Hill t-shirt for anyone who can overlay a 'side' image of the 250 over a 456. If you match up the wheel hubs that should be fine for general comparison.

From a quick peek it seems the 456 nose is way too long, there is a LOT of V12 stuck in the front of these...

its pretty much a fit for the rest of the car, but the radiators might need some massaging into place....

PM me your address and t-shirt size mate  :)     I'll send you two!

From that picture, it's not just radiator, the engine in the 456 is massive. Anyone got a 'cutaway' image?  :D

best i could find.... but no engine placement

but looking at the 456 engine bay, the block is behind the wheels.... so although its not a heap of space, i think there MIGHT be enough.... you would have to get the tape measure out.

Ace work. Luckily I have a tape measure, AND a 456   :)

Now I think about it, length isn't the biggest issue. Width is. Rear track on the 250 is 1394mm vs 1606mm on the 456.
1778mm wide vs 1920mm.

Good read.
