Ferrari parts are usually quite expensive and freight from the UK? is not cheap so what can one do except shop around and get multiple quotes...at least then you know you're getting the best deal possible..
Have fun with the 308 GT4...I had a silver series 2 with sunroof and blue leather about 10 yrs ago and it was great fun....I'm coming full circle now with the recent purchase of my 2nd ...a 1982 308 GTSi

Thanks guys . i have managed to locate boot lid and engine lid as well as passenger glass , and a few bits and pieces for around 700 pound , shipped to my door , i think he said they use ups . Does this sound  about right? . Thanks again. First Ferrari , hope i havent bitten off more than i can chew    :thumbsup:
and as they say....bite off more than you can chew and then chew like crazy.....

wow...couldn't be too many around with those options...guy who bought mine was Alan..lived in Nth caulfield and was in the finance world.
what's your chassis number...i'll check it against my records
a lot of work was done with Sandro Terzini when I worked for him at Prancing Horse motors...now Terzine Motore..ie valve/shims,larger core radiator,full clean of cooling system,new header tank,alternator,carbys balanced and general check over,fluids etc

Thought , i,d start to put the beast back together . Installed the locking mech on bonnet , closed it now when i pull the leaver it won,t open . Any ideas on how to open the bonnet without the use of a screw driver or angle grinder . Any help would be appreciated . Thanks Mick :confused:

i had a feeling you'd ask. do you have a handbook? it's in that.

if you don't, i'll dig it out, but it might take a while.

there's one on each side...i think they're both under the dashboard.
