Hehe, I was involved with converting an XY GT clone to LHD once, for a guy over in Yank land.
Also been involved with converting a few early Falcon Utes as well.

The Yanks went nuts over the old XW - XY Falcons and the XA to XC 2 doors in the late 90's.
And they loved the old Utes, probably bacause they don't have anything like it, only big old pick-ups and such.

If memory serves, the company that was set up over there to export these cars was called "Mad Max Motors".

Yeah, but they are still a huge thing.

They do have smaller Toyota pick ups and stuff.

But for some reason they went mad over the Aussie utes. 

I remember the guys got an XC 2 door and Cloned it into the Mad Max Intercepter and it wasn't that good.
Had a stock 302 Clevo in it and if you know much about them you will know that they are a boat archor.
Some dude over in Yank land paid $US50k for it.

Hi can anyone help me . Have a damaged gt4 , need bootlid , engine lid and possibly other bits .

if you do a search on GT4 you will see on the market watch thread a GT4 import that has been on ebay a few times without selling...by memory the whole car wasn't much (engine needed rebuild) and may even be cheaper than buying everything individually.

Thanks guys . i have managed to locate boot lid and engine lid as well as passenger glass , and a few bits and pieces for around 700 pound , shipped to my door , i think he said they use ups . Does this sound  about right? . Thanks again. First Ferrari , hope i havent bitten off more than i can chew
