The rear right side hand brake cable on my '86 328 has worn through the insulation on the exhaust pipe as well as wearing through the insulation and partly through the metal of the cable itself as well.
What I would like to know is, has anyone else had this problem and what was your solution?
The cable, as can be seen in the photo, runs over the lower 'A' arm pivot. Should this cable be routed under the pivot?
