how does the news know its uninsured, hours after the crash?

Shame to see it end like that.

And they knock back more Ferraris than they take on.

Why's that? Driver history, age or something else? Never had a problem with mine but theyve known me personally for 25 years.

Probably a cop at the scene asked the question of the owner, or the entire time he was there he kept repeating JFC I should have got that insurance. The good thing is no fatalities and it seems as though it will stay that way.

CTP is covered in registration. TPP is the issue.

IF the owner has the means why is TPP the issue?

AFAIK there are no legalities regarding TPP.

If he takes out MHH's Roll's and a Porsche or two on his way through the front window of someone's two story house TPP could start to rack up.

Because anyone can "self insure" their own clear-titled car but it's hard to self insure against other property damage when you don't know what you are going to hit. Losing your own car is one thing. Losing your house because you collided with someone else's Rolls-Royce is another.

this is where it needs to be mandatory to have TTP in Australia, cars have been driving for over 100 years in this country and still there is no uniform TTP insurance system.

BTW driving without TTP is like playing Russian roulette with a 6 shooter and 5 chambers are full of bullets
Meeting women on the Internet? Remember, the more similarities u “magically” have, & the more she agrees with u, the fucking crazier she is.
