Agree with a few others that 1180 is the best of the lot, nice work overall.

Only tip is to concentrate on lighting a little more.

538, 791 very nice
How did you get access to the building?

Drove in through barriers, wasn't there for long... Luckily it wasn't busy and no one was too confused as to why the car was there.

Any reason for the engine cover up in quite a few shots?

The engine lid down would have made some of the shots better... But nice work overall.

Yeah, engine lid up was a silly idea of mine. I realised when going through the photos that I should've had it round the other way the majority of the time (engine lid down :P) but nevermind. I know now for next time...

Thanks very much, lighting will be a very difficult thing to work on... Annoying how I thought the lighting and shadows were good while doing the shoot, but you notice the problems when processing. I think I may have been a little taken aback by the car and sort of rushed it a little.

Thanks a lot to all of you, especially the photographers here, as it certainly means a lot coming from you.

As others have said 1180 is a worthy candidate to hang on the wall & I also Ike 1535 with the reflections on the rear window.

Great shots!

Great pics  I think I have to agree with the others, 1180 is the pick of the bunch.

Nice to see someone getting out and using their camera, unlike me. Full time work and study doesn't leave me much time to go out and take photos :( Mind you taking photos is one of my favourite winding down tools.

As someone learning to use a DSLR, I'm curious to know what you mean by this comment and how one would go about concentrating on lighting?

Great shots mate, not much I can say that hasn't already been said. Like the reflections in 538.

I'm with Jan on this one.

I mostly see annoying/distracting shadows and reflections in the outdoor shots (and even some indoor).

So it's a matter of learning what the light does to a car's shape and the surroundings, and getting the absolute best angles etc.

By the way, this is general stuff, and nothing to do with type of camera.

Hope this helps.

(typed in a hurry from a noisy airport, so apologies that this isn't sugar coated  :))

I like to imagine this is how it all went down:
