At Phillip island, the smart ones lift at the bridge as instructed to by the experts, otherwise they arrive at turn 1 at 300+ kmh.

Yes, on some type of road legal tyre, even a 458 road car has cracked 300. An F12 could do the same.

On std road tyres, they can still go close.

Huh, are you really that dumb?

All GT3, or at least all i know of, are slower in a straight line than their road car origin.

Gearing (homologated and not allowed to change it) and drag.
We were on our limiter in top at 277 on a good lap. Road 458 does ??

Michelins are taller, so we can go 286 (at Bathurst)  Pirelli give 277 max.
