Great pic but maybe because I know it's not real, it doesn't look as real as the real thing would look - if that makes sense. I think you can still do "epic" pics by enhancing actual photos without transposing. It would be hard to get that much speed up right there of course!

You wouldn't need to actually get much speed to do that shot with a rig, but the problem is using a rig on a public road like that.

That is the main reason a lot of the advertising photographers use "virtual rig" - access issues/costs to shut down locations.

make perfect sense.

Correct, and half the reason I've been pursuing this avenue... you never know when you need it up your sleeve.

Absolutely, to attract different clients you need a diverse range of skills.

I haven't done a VR shot in ages, but should definitely brush up on it too.

I don't think I've seen any of your VR shots.... Care to share?

A couple here: http://www.janglovac.com/motion/

The two red Aventador shots and the silver Golf R32 further down. I've done a few others for practice but they aren't online.

Great stuff Dave, keep it up and they'll be giving you the cars to take out and photograph.

Just posting this here cos i wanted to share it. Im waiting on Ferrari Adelaide to OK it before its posted publically on social media etc... but theyre happy with me sharing it around on here....

Anyway, this shot took me a total of 20-30 hours to put together in photoshop.

i thought recently, id step up my photography game. Rather than just taking lots of random shots of a car (which i still enjoy), i might start creating "epic" images, one at a time.... anyway......ya like?

Image

Fantastic, almost makes me want to dip into my savings........ :scratchchin:..........almost
