Ferraris treatment of loyal customers is absolutely ridiculous. Having said that, Preston Henn isn't a stranger to lawsuits - although it is generally the other way around.

Publicity  ;)

Is it true Jay Leno doesn't have any Ferrari's because they treated him poorly in the past?

A rumour. I have never heard him comment publicly about it, true or otherwise.

After reading that article, this Preston Henn chap already has a La Ferrari coupe.  Assuming that the coupe was directly purchased from Ferrari, how is it possible that he doesnt qualify for a spider?

Given the stories I have heard about him, my real worry out of this is that Preston is as likely to hoist #6885 up by a crane and drop it just to prove a point.

Not a chance IMO. He may well be right in saying that it could be the most valuable Ferrari; but I can think of a few other cars that would top it. By all accounts he absolutey loves that car.
For the uninitiated, it is an ultra radical cheater 275 GTB racer that was meant to be the 1965 GTO.

He might trash the Enzo to prove a point though :p

Not all Coupe buyers qualify for Spiders although it is a prerequisite I believe.

Which makes it even more likely that he would do it IMO. He is old and by all accounts senile. Article from over ten years ago:

Apparently a local establishment has secured 3 allocations for the La Ferrari Spider directly from Ferrari.
