It is basically a direct descendant of the 250GTO, which sets it up nicely, along with the fact that it's a a rarer variant of a rare, very desirable model. If a 250 GTO is worth 40m+ and is 1 of 33, imagine what a 1 of 3 will fetch today. The fact that it was a le mans class winner (as well as a class winner in 1 other that I've forgotten) probably makes it the best example of the 3.

The 275 GTB Competition Speciale was intended to be the 1965 250 GTO.
It was a n Enzo "cheater"  spec car that was ostensibly homologated on the production 275 GTB. The reality is they shared very little with the homologated car. They built 4 cars from memory,  each more advanced than the one before. They are 7/8th scale "275 GTB's" with half thickness alloy bodies of a very different shape. Preston Henn's car is the best and the only one with competition provenance. Much rarer and more specialized than the 250GTO, easily more valuable; but who knows how much as it is a Unicorn with no comps to guage it by.

Much more knowledgeable on the topic than I  :)

It does however, look like we won't be the car for sale anytime soon if this post has any truth to it.

Perhaps one of the big names , eg Ralph Lauren , will go for it?

Or some dude from mainland China who wants to make a statement.
