The last one would make you smile having sold the f50....

It's interesting because it's obvious in the first 5mins of a hard drive that the Scud is faster than an F50, much faster in most conditions.
You would get out of an F50 on the same drive, nerves tingling because you've had to be right on your game to ring the speed out of it with not a single electronic aid and a manual gearbox to constantly row up and down. In the scud you would get out knowing you have been blisteringly quick; but under no allusions that it was all down to your own skill. It's still a very raw car; but there is always the feeling that there is some incredibly smart engineering and computers keeping the show on the road long after you have run out of skill. In some ways it is very much like a play station experience. The F50 really is an  "old school" analogue experience.

That can't be right, can it?

As thoughtsterbation it sounds about right - F40 getting in the zone for both traction and power delivery/boost around 100kph, the F50's outright power and tech advantage might deteriorate rapidly from there.

Looks odd. I don't know where they are getting the stats from.

Usually it is from combined magazine tests.

I have found some figures to be inaccurate or varied from time to time.

Obviously there differences in tyre condition, temperature and drivers etc etc etc...

so 360 Modena's are a bit below $100k now, how much lower do you guys think they will drop in the next few years?
probably not too much i rekon, maybe 10-15k over the next 5 yrs or am I way off?

or are they basically fully depreciated & just going to stay where they are now?

(im talking about  the series 1 modena's mainly)

I think 360 value over the next 3-5 will depend a lot on the AUD vs USD. Seems that since the AUD took a tumble the low end of the 360 market has gone from several cars on carsales (Asking) mid/high 90's to 100 to just one car on their for 100 and nothing below that.

I do wonder if the 458 speciale will push 458s onto the market and push the 360 price down further.

How will the prices fall anymore when imports have just about completely stopped because the AUD is worth 58p???

Most imports come from Great Britain and a few from Singapore, Supply decreases, price stabalises or goes up if the demand is there. 

As paul has said, the price has gone up a bit over the last 4 months. 

I've seen a couple of 05 spiders hit the $150k mark recently, one was red other was black, both F1's and both had between 25-35000 km and both were Brit imports.

Maintenance is still fuck all, if you can afford to maintain a merc or BMW at the dealership, then you won't have any problems with a 360 or 430 for that matter (my own personal experience). Shop around for a good independent specialist and you'll be fine.

also generally speaking, if someone has gone to the effort to fudge the km's, you can almost know for sure that the service history is also bullocks.

a 360 at $80k today is pretty unlikely. Go back 3-6 months ago you could have picked a few.   Also since people are now spending money to fix the problems these "$80k" cars had, do you really think they would sell it for $80k again after spending big to bring a POS back to decent condition?
You can say I'm wrong, but my garage doesn't agree with that statement!!!
