Was that the Blackmans car Scott?  That was a beautiful car and a great colour.

Can't remember which one it was now; but this example was nothing special.

I also looked at the ex Sheirman cut coupe for a bit. Rang Scott up about it, should probably have bought it; but wondered why it had been flipped so many times soon after purchase. Beautiful looking car that would be over $1 million now. He was having trouble shifting it at the time, hard as that might be to believe now.

I was offered that car when it 1st came to Australia by Paul S,was going to do a deal with my Aston, crawled under it full of rust, pretty car but a very poor car both body and mechanics.
when Jeff had it for sale it sold and in a flash was back on the market, was always said a car to buy real cheap.

Ah, ok. One of the guys who looks after us when we do the Tour Auto restores cars.  He had the most beautiful light blue Daytona last time I was their and he had another 2 in the garage.  I'll get some photos when I'm back in France in April.

Might have been as it sat there for well over 12 months.

was a pretty car pity it was in the state it was.

Must say i always like the Daytona's driven about 5 of them ,preferred them to the BB as a drivers car remind me so much of the 2 Mustangs I race ,front engine grunt, heavy and any very easy to come to grips with.

I didn't look at it in detail to be honest Rob.  I could never afford one of them then let alone now!  Just loved the colour.  The other Daytona I really liked here was Ray D's car.  Used to love seeing that car on the Carbie runs.

Not as dainty or well balanced as a 275 GTB, kinda Sumo wrestler vs a ballerina.

I remember a light gold Daytona for sale which ended up at DK Engineering in the UK.
When it was here in Australia the asking price was in the 4-500k range…
Here is the sold listing at DK
