also, the colour... big cars rarely look good in red IMO... this one is not bad, but not great...

After driving the R8 it's become even more apparent that the Italians have got it sown up, the noise the sound no one can get close, even Porsche are really just sports cars by comparison, BUT you have to be prepared to handle unreliabilty and high running costs but if you're married you're already used to that

The designers and marketing guys are having a bit of fun..

The marketing guys know that there are stupid rich people out there that are collectors and will buy anything Ferrari puts a badge on. So theyve got together with the designers and theyre gonna build uglier and uglier cars and see how long it takes to build a car that even the collectors wont buy.

Star Wars made billions from Collectors that just had to have one of everything that came out. Ferrari has recognised they have collectors who are the same so they thought theyd have some fun with it.

I was expecting/hoping for the dynamics of the 612 wrapped into a 458ish looking body. And 4WD??? WTF??? This isn't Lamborghini.

I thought the 458 was heralding a new era of pretty Ferrari's. Clearly I thought wrong.
