THANKS FERRARI FIXER. CALLED INTO AUTOMOTION THIS MORNING. WHAT A FIND! 3 EX FERRARI TECHNICIANS WHO WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP OUT. SOUNDS LIKE THEY KNOW THEIR STUFF AND HAVE THE LATEST DIAGNOSTIC TESTER WHICH COVERS FERRARI, MASERATI AND LAMBORGHINIS RIGHT UP TO THE PRESENT MODELS. EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR.

Chris and the guys at Automotion are totally under water.

Luckily, they got almost everything out, and all are safe and well.

I've heard another marque specialist may have had an important Porsche flooded.

best of luck to all those businesses in the area, I can't imagine how it would affect me, I can only sympathise.

Gah - was just a few weeks ago that Chris contacted me to advertise on AE as a lot of his customers are fans of the site (still haven't got back to him :sorry: ).

he sounds ok but i think he'd be gutted knowing all his gear including 6 hoists, wheel aligner machine, tyre fitting machine, tools etc etc are now all fucked. i think the water is over the roof, not just a few feet worth. not sure if insurance will cover him? once the water is gone i'll be down there to help with the clean up

he married a nice girl and her dad runs pubs, so aaron left the car trade to run them. that lasted 2 years maybe (running the pubs bit) then he went to work for palmer. i would of had him as race engineer for bathurst if wayne was driving with me.

wow,. so wayne didn't have enough pre warning about the flood, or the level, to clear it all out? That's terrible.

Good for Aaron too, thanks!
