yes, you were wrong, and continue to be so. As I said already, he actually gained fresh tyres and fuel from pitting under his own safety car. if the race had remained green, he would have lost ground during the pit.... pure fluke, but a fact none the less.

So, no, you couldn't say it cost significant time...

yep, top stats.. I think the guy is a legend... fallible though.

Theres.... Hill Adelaide shunt (disgraceful), Villenueve Jerez shunt and dsq from WC (red mist, excusable), race DSQ for benetton floor (team fault?), Monaco qual farce (dodgy to say the least), Monaco hit wall for no reason on slow corner (lost concentration)... and that's off top of my head..

I'm sure there much more to put up if needed...

The guy is a human with flaws... but IMO the best we've seen.... for me it's because of his abilty to put in the right lap at the right times... a trait Allan shares.

Theres.... Hill Adelaide shunt (disgraceful),

i've recently wondered about that....MS took the normal line through that corner and was clearly in front when they collided. wouldn't Hill have been a lot smarter to just wait a second? he'd have seen the damage and known  MS couldn't continue...why try and stick his nose into a small gap? *shrug*
