Hi Guys
Does anyone know where I can get a bracket for the passenger seat hold down bolt to secure a fire extinguisher??
I've seen a couple for Mitsubishi's and Nissans, but they won't fit.
Or any other suggestions of where to mount one for a track day that does not require drilling holes.

Thanks

I bought a universal one and had some extra holes done for my 360 seats.

Can't find a pic, but there's plenty here that give a good idea of how it works

C'mon, do it!

That first picture looks good with the carbon fibre, I might remove a seat bolt this weekend and see how much room I actually have under the seat runner. Something similar between the hold down bolts and then the extinguisher bracket bolted to it should work ok.

Thanks for that.

I just make custom brackets that attach to the seat side of the runner bolts. That way, the Extinguisher moves with the seat and stays right under the pax knees.

Or, you can attach it to the pax floor panel in front of the battery through the drilled foot rest holes.

Looking for something similar for my Audi.  There's a bunch of off the shelf units for yank cars on eBay but it may just be easier to get a fabricator sort one out for me...  Less pain.

I bought a 1kg unit from Supercheap Auto. Cut a 3mm Glav Flat Bar, drilled holes that line up with the existing screws that hold the two rear baskets. I then Pop Riveted the clip frame to the flat bar and screwed it in. If I ever remove it (doubt it) there are no new holes and it all looks neat and tidy (I think) Ill try attach pic

Nice, but that location risks accidental deployment from bags or clothing getting caught up. I've seen it done.

Hey FF, you mean the extinguisher going off if something behind the seats (bags/clothing) hook into it and depress trigger? thought the Pin would stop that from happening? That was a worry of mine, but didn't think it was a problem

The pin will stop it.

But you're supposed to remove the pin while on track, although no-one ever does.

Its also possible for the pin to get knocked out anyway.
