Gto is worth probably half that... 1.1 is a lot for a nicer 599

the 695 gets some puzzled looks on the road

its a fun little car to drive slow around the city, ferrari/fiat did a great job with the bi-modal exhaust

for those that enjoy the details, there is a fair bit of differentiation to the standard abarth

damn sight better than aston's city car effort

+1 on the GTO being a nicer 599. the last GTO was a bespoke model and now a collectors item. the new GTO reaks of a marketing department problem solving exercise for the 599 chassis' that weren't selling

Hmmm....anything with a GTO badge on it from Ferrari should do well on future resale surely?

Yes the new model will be faster but that wont affect the GTO's collectibility.

Its a genuinely limited edition Ferrari...that's gotta be worth something.

Not right away though. Guess time will tell

Above all, it will always be a 599. The best 599, sure, but still a 599.

perhaps its only the super rare modern day ferraris that will be collectible in future...cars like the 599XX and FXX.

I will consider myself lucky if I even SEE one of those...

I remember when no one wanted a 246 because they weren't a "real" Ferrari. Time changes so much.

Wouldn't the GTO suffer the same fate as the 670 SV? It may be the best of its breed but likely won't hold a candle to the 'base' version of the new generation model.
