Well, JM picked it up and drove off with it this morning. It was such a beautiful looking car until he hopped into it, but it still sounded unbelievable as it drove off.

Good luck with it John...I hope you have as many happy adventures as I did.

Make sure you stay with only competent mechanics. As any Ferrari owner will tell you, it makes all the difference to the ownership experience.

You know Tim at Black Stallion Motors and Carl Jones have done a shit load of work on it, so if you have any questions, I guarantee they'll be happy to help in any way.

Although I've warned them to change their phone numbers :)

Did I tell you how to fill up the oil? Just fill up the oil tank to the top, and that'll do :)

LOL...I crack me up.

As you can see, John doesn't look happy at all.

Been meaning to ask you. What made you sell it? When you see someone attached that much to a car, it's hard to imagine them selling it. Like my S4s - I've done only 1,000km in it the last year as I've been enjoying other cars more, but I cannot possibly imagine selling it.
You make something idiotproof, they'll make a better idiot.

I even surprised myself! I just enjoy the 308 ownership experience a little bit more and for me, one Ferrari was enough. I think it's an age thing. My car ownership outlook is 180 degrees to what it was in my 30s. The last time I owned a 308GTB I owned it for 2 months then sold it bitterly disappointed with it. This time it's a total joy for me.

I've often said even I have no clue what's going on in my head.

14 years I owned it....and a huge bonus in selling it (it sure wasn't the price...they're worthless) was seeing someone who's lusted after one for years and years finally getting what he wants. Believe it or not, that outweighed all the cons of selling it.
