and i don't give a stuff!

they look almost the same to me...if anything maybe the '89 model is a little more modern...i mean FFS the previous model looks almost like the ones on my 30yo car!!!

the point is they are what they are, and that's all there is to it.

i wouldn't swap them, even if i could.

hehe ;)

so you like the concave better too then.

shame really.

Oh!  Right, right.........phewww, that cleared up a few sticky points then! It all makes much more sense now!  Just speaking for myself, I couldnt understand what you were going to all the trouble of having the detailing done and so on for a car that you had bought by accident! Here I was thinking "poor guy, damn Ferrari turns up in a container in his driveway so he pays for it, unloads it and now he has to clean it".......that cant be fair!
Pete, I'm really glad you actually wanted this car.......
Always Gunna

lol...shaddap.

that's not what i meant.

i chose THIS car because it's exactly the specs i wanted. obviously, if i preferred the other wheels, as ff was suggesting, i'd have bought a car that has them. ;p

Hmmm... ok. Was it the ABS/anti dive you wanted or the convex wheels.

if ABS/anti dive were available with Concave wheels, OR convex... would you still have gone for convex?

Honestly now.....

i'll type slowly.............
i like both! i actually prefer the more modern look of the convex wheels. as i said earlier, the concave ones are almost the same design as on my 30yo GT4...they were in need of an upgrade, and that's what they did with the '89.

and...as i said....it's just as well i prefer them, because the different hubs mean i can't change them anyway...even if i wanted to ....which i don't.

i hope that's clarified.
