I big thank you! this is why we need to have better contact with each other, we can only recomend companies that we have had personal experience with - on our side of the water.

I have now dropped them off our list. We have no idea of what happens when the cars arrive in Australia. We sign the cars over to the UK shipping agent, certify Air con gas and scan all paperwork and email to the agent / customer. All our Presales preparation is done prior to the car being available.

Thank you again - please do not hesitate to advise us of such issues.

Currently, The ONLY reputable, commercially viable, and trusted Ferrari RAWS compliance engineer, >>>> IMO <<<, is in QLD, Glyn Pearce.

FYI Tim, I'm Phil Hughes and I'm ex  DK Engineering + KHPC/ferraricentre, and my dad sells cars from there. Arthur (Not Daley  :tilt:)

I handle a fair amount of import stuff. Most recently a daytona which came from Elms (shipped OF COURSE by debs and CO at Austorient site sponsor) with inspection by T Hoyle... lets say description and inspection were somewhat flattering....  Car is basically ok, but NOT as described.

Bought my first Ferrari from Glyn, and later on the 456. Top guy.
C'mon, do it!

Hi Phil, - Its a pleasure to meet you, I know of Dion at Elms but have never delt with him, DK don't seem to be the company they used to be - but no first hand experience and KHPC seem to be doing very well with lots of priase on Club Scuderia - Ferrari forum in the UK.

It would be nice to put Austorient on our international page - and use people that are recomended by people that have used them.

I have witnessed many inspections that are not thorough and detailed, A Ferrari inspection should be carried out by a dedicated specialist to the marque - whom understands the difficulty of distance purchasing.

Thanks for making yourself known, feel free to contact me with any enquires as we track many cars throughout the UK and i'd be happy to help - if possible.

DK was amazing in my era (1998 to 2000) It was a pleasure and honour to work with some of the finest guys on the old stuff.

I think most of them are now with GTO Engineering  :tilt:

DK are still very respectable and turn out a superb car, but I've lost touch really. It's a close knit family business. Curiously they relocated to premises that were actually my lodgings while i worked there.

Mike Stirland used to do some overflow work for us before he set up his new business, Great work, very detailed but I have lost touch with him over the past 4 years or so. I think every dealer has some cars better than others, they cannot all be A1 but clarity and preparation make the difference.

All dealers are only as good as the cars that they sell.
