Trust me...........you're on the wrong track.
I'm not going to put it in writing on a public forum; but there are several people reading this who know exactly what I am talking about and would be in total agreement.

I'll say this though, if it was an Australian delivered, tax paid car you would have had nothing to be overly concerned about.

LOL......you'd just want to know exactly what you're buying, that's all. Nothing wrong with any of them, if you know exactly what you've buying and it's priced accordingly.

Some might be sale proof......but of course there's always an intrinsic value, even if just for parts.
