One of the risks of a track day. I'm guessing the guy in the 308 didnt say, "sorry, here's a blank cheque to fix up what I did to your car."

No he didn't. In fact it was lawyers at 12 paces involving some very well known and very wealthy people in Ferrari land. The club was also dragged into the legal biffo as well.

and the outcome?

It was a lot more complicated than the mere crash and financial damages aspect. Can't go into it on a public forum.

Really? Big call...

Right up there for sure.

I think you need to be more specific. A Dino GTS is considered prettier than the GT by some, but the other way around by others...

what's your preference??

sorry totally missed this with those shunt pictures

GT is a thing of beauty, the lines just look so magnificent, GTS looks a bit of a hack job to me.

nice work on the recolour BTW

Really? I'd rather have that white Ford GS V8 that's across the street. And I am not mean. I would 100% rather have it than the Dino. Dino does absolutely nothing to me.

its horses for courses, we all like different stuff.

IE. i hate the daytona, I actually think the Rover SD1 looks better i guess its all just a matter of what appeals to our brain.

just like you & I love Esprit's yet so many people dislike them.

Thanks, I think hack job is a bit harsh, but I agree with the sentiment.

I just picked up my Dino before Christmas.

The interior looks like the day it left the factory.

And I was fortunate enough to find an original Radiomobile 8 track stereo that the car was originally delivered with.

I don't remember seeing that carpet colour before. Is it unusual, or should I just get out more?
I love my car. Buy your own

Agggghhhh....... that is beautiful.

The 8 Track made me laugh. Do you have anything to play in it? There was some sort of contraption made that plugged into the 8 track slot that let you play cassettes.

Give us the story on the car.

OMG...I think you are about to set a new trend ,when it comes to trimming 246's.

Fantastic, full marks for doing it in   original material.

IMO once scene in the general Ferrari community, more owners will restore the interiors to vinyl ,if that's what it was when new.

To me that trim has very much the correct period look as per the grain/texture.
