why?

I was thinking the same...

FWIW

I fully endorse the BSM system, if you're happy to spend that much and go that far away from originality.

For the last 20 years, yes 20 years, anyone that knows anything about this has been using Motorcycle chain type lube.... you know... the stuff that clings!

good.....thanks for confirming that its  viscosity changes with temperature....lol

Maybe not being a motorcyclist you didn't realise how much chain lube changes with temperature, but whatever the reason, you've agreed with me..............again.

Another FF burial.

too easy.

BSM 9873 0308....don't just take my word for it....ring them and ask questions.

I love my car. Buy your own

well... do you want to thrash the engine when it's cold then....???? The chain lube is as constant as you need for the operation parameters.

and I am a motorcyclist. Or have been, and could well be again.

AND..... hey guess what..... you're looking stoopid again!

actually, I've changed my mind a little on that.

The BSM system is great, but it too is not perfect.

The 1980/81 system first used on the Ferrari 2Vi and later QV and 328 as standard is the best system for accurate ignition timing, as it is the first type that uses flywheel sensors.

ANY ignition system triggered off the camshaft driven distributor/s, is only as good the camshaft drive intermediate gears, wear on the gears and belt pulleys and the cambelt length and timing fluctuation.

Unless you trigger it from the flywheel, it wont be perfectly accurate at all times....

..........IF that's important to you.

Any reasonable person will know that it's NOT that important..... but there are SOME unreasonable people I guess
