A lot of 360's on the net still for sale after months of advertising, some are very nice but on the high end of the price range for a 360. I’m glad I’m not trying to sell one at the moment the market is very tight. I see the blue one is in Pickles auction on the 18th it’s on the net.

Ok.  Bit of a change of plan with a shift in focus to an F430.  Smaller volumes, market not complicated by heaps of imports, probably better residual values  and most importantly I'm told a better car

Given the current market would an offer of 200K on this be fair, a bit cheeky or outrageously offensive?

Also does anyone know a reputable chap to do the PPI in Perth?  Yes I have done a search of the forum but haven't found any WA guys.

Many thanks

The F430 is of course a much better car and then the 458 is even better. Offer whatever you like. You never know if they accept it but I think 210ish is reasonable.

Good luck and if you get a F430 you will love it!

Without looking up the car, anyone's guess is as good as any.

Give it a go, worst that can happen is they say no.

If the car is priced at $229, I'd guess the owner wants $200k and the $29k is the dealers profit margin, so I'd guess you'd probably be rejected for the first few months until  the dealer talks the owner down if the car hasn't sold quickly.

Yes the 430 is a better car, but it is another $100k more than a 360.

I had one, car wasn't different enough to me to bother keeping it for more than a few months. I know FerrariFixer goes on about the 430 being much better, but IMO the difference isn't that great.

458 on the other hand is leaps and bounds better than the 430, if the choice was between a 458 and a 430 with $100k difference then is definitely say go for the 458. But depending on your finances I would go a 2004-2005 360 over an early 430 with a $100k price difference.

Just my opinion
Enjoying Life!!!!

I don't think I'd say a 430 is better than a 360.

It's faster, newer, cheaper to maintain and smoother to drive though.

I ALWAYS tell people that want to improve their 360s to simply buy a 430...... but that's just because it's cheaper to buy a 430 and get the results you want rather than trying to upgrade your 360, which typically devalues it anyway.

Cmon guys the F430 is miles better than the 360. Drives better, feels better and the rest.

Sorry but I have been through 355, 360 and F430 currently so I know the difference.

Now 458 is another story.

Go the F430 for sure even with the extra 100K.
