Looks ok in the pics.

what's the full VIN??

the fact it's a 95 but has an (ugly) air bag steering wheel would suggest it's an aussie car, but it could be an import.

that age valve guides (and valves and seats) are a "sooner or later" job that'll cost ~$10k specialist and $25k dealer.

Headers will crack/melt sooner or later too.

plus normal stuff like inner CV/boots, control arm bushes,  and many more.

Its not the car I was thinking of that had an accident. I looked it up and that was a spider not this car.

This one has been for sale for a while so he probably wants to move it so its priced to move.

Plenty of good cars marked down at the moment. A little birdy tells me that the mint condition yellow 348 spider from Qld can be had for $99k as well. Only 25k km on a mint spider for under 100k is a steal and shows its a flooded market out there atm.

If the valves and the exhausts have been done its very much worth buying.
A friend spent 20k when a valve let go in his 355.

Seems like a great investment! Obviously no spouse then?

Did you get an explanation of why it's so cheap?

Yeah he has a spouse but not much choice when you drop a valve at high revs and want the car back on the road in two weeks.

probably same reason i have my GT3 as the cheapest in Australia.

he wants to shift it, and has had enough of time wasting losers

but am doing my research now, just checking if anyone here actually knows the car to give me a head start on my due diligence.

Fair call - it's the cheapest seen in a while.

I've heard of a Sydney targa 355 that's been in for an engine rebuild, then a return as it wasn't making power, then another rebuild. NO idea if its this car -  but worth a deep look at service records and a talk to the last mechanic in the book...
C'mon, do it!
