well the years i known him he has been a quiet sort of guy
he is a power operator distributor
he and most of us believe his innocence
so he should not been jailed

and yea the 2 front tires were bald and aparently slightly flat

yes he did leave also the bus driver was fined for leaving
but as soon as neil james muirhead found out he handed himself in

How good were his lawyers? Were they experienced in this type of case?

I was offered the engine from the ferrrai, but it was WAY TOO soon after the accident for my liking...

not sure what happened to it after that.

And at that stage I already owned a Ferrari engine #444... which in chinese numerology is death death death!

anyway, thanks GT for your information and comments.

well guys im just telling you the bits the paper havnt got to yet
i talked to neil today for 12 mins he is just beside him self
an innocent man behind bars

It's an issue of culpability in the end, the "facts" are difficult to discern from media - as we know they are seldom anything but a caricature of the truth.

What it comes down to is whether you believe someone who wasn't a direct cause, but is still "culpable" (in the eyes of the law, not literally) should be held accountable.

That issue is something which will never have a singular resolution.

he will not be appealing any time soon
he and the family don't wish to add more time to his sentence
if it doesn't work

is it possible to appeal the sentence, without the conviction?

I really think "out in 2" would be ample.

Agree. Still struggle with the sentence though. Drink drivers who directly kill get less.
