In theory, if pressure applied is infinite, then YES, the trye limits the stop... but it's NOT. The system/driver can't deliver infinite pressure.... so the limiting factor becomes heat disspation, modulation......

I got no dog in this fight but really, that is just wrong.

Give me a fulcrum and a place to stand and I can move the world.
Brake pedal is a lever, you know. Nothing "infinite" required.
Of course the contact between road and car is the ultimate limiting factor. Certainly as long as my sainted grey haired mum has been able to lock the wheels on any modern car.

Had a look at the relevant thread and whilst it looked like you were talking about the GTR, I think you were actually talking  about the Inbred Clown Car....but then again, they are quite similar, and resemble each other...well you know what I mean.
