Especially for racecomp...

There are some allowable red things.

This dino was headless this morning. Running now despite 6 hours on the internet :tilt:

Red ign leads ooh yeah....

Love that red stuff, nothing wrong in making an engine bay look good. Very nice...

Have a look at mke on F life, made a 308 go all V12. I hope the motor sits in an oven that's very hot for a long time; it would be very stressed with all that tig work. 100 and odd pages worthy of a read though.

TLDR
Meeting women on the Internet? Remember, the more similarities u “magically” have, & the more she agrees with u, the fucking crazier she is.

TLDR

It's all non-standard anyway, some good information to had for the non-conformist types.
I have never seen such an amount of tig welding on one project, aluminium shrinks like hell unless its pre-heated before you start the work, that amount of welding would be very hard to do at high temp.
The idea is that the hot aluminium can cool down at the same time as the new weld reducing the amount of shrinkage and distortion. Post cure is a must to stress relieve. Chrome moly is the same, it needs to be relieved or the chances of it cracking in the HAZ are high.

MKe is a very talented man who thinks out the box and knows his way around machine shop equipment.

The back head looks like a prick of a thing to get on and off.

When you say back, you mean front, right?

Or left, right?

Many owners and home mechanics say its not possible.

But of course,  they're wrong :tilt:

Looking at the engine from the back of the car, the head nearest to the bulkhead. You know the one I’m talking about.

Have you ever done work on a Renault 5 turbo? What a prick of thing to work on. I’m not a fan of transvers motors.
