No, Aussie car prices depend on the buyer.

i'll call BS on that one. a lot will depend on the salesman and whatever "spin" can be put on whatever car is for sale at the time.

i'm not implying anything, but if i was selling a car privately and did the "oh, dry sump cars carry a 10% premium in the rest of the world" the potential purchaser would politely tell me to fuck off. if you as the mechanic of said car said the same thing, they would probably listen.

I'd just tell anyone to go and do some global research...

edit... they're not listing any 308GTB's at the moment.... but my point is that dry sump cars DO make higher prices, and for good reason.

I will add though that the wet sump baffle plate is a good thing for oil pressure, but still does nothing for temperature.
