Plus, the chances of a 1995 Ferrari having original paint are quite slim.

But yes, anyway, Ferrari paint APPLICATION isn't the best.

But it doesn't need to be.

It has nothing to do with the paint being from Ferrari. The paint is made from other specialist big name paint companies that supply other car brands as well.

I'm well aware of this ;)
I was trying to mention paintwork on a Ferrari as opposed to paintwork on Mercedes Benz (PPG).
I think the paint was Glasurit or PPG on the F355

Pretty sure DuPont supplied paint for the 360s

They should be. You'd expect that when purchasing a car of such high calibre.

Not sure what was wrong about my edit? That I admit that I wasn't sure about DuPont supplying paint for ALL 360s?

I've got a PPG sticker under my bonnet of my 360 (Rosso Corsa 322)

Well there you go, some had PPG, some had DuPont.
What year is your car?

Would be interesting to see what the earlier models had. I'll have to look under the Stradale lid next time.

In any case, my point was that Ferrari paintwork was average. It's disappointing considering the money you pay.

Yeah - have read many threads from owners with brand new Ferraris with orange peel and other imperfections.

Yeah, it's a shame. I suppose they make a good noise though...
