I've got quite a few cars. I'm a car nut.

I wouldn't have previously checked the torque of my wheelnuts previously, but now after an incident I do. That being said, it's mainly because I could buy a cool tool and I get to look technical when it's calibrated once a year. There's a big difference between this and something truly mechanical.

For this one - the car is pretty much dust, there's nothing to take back to anyone. Is there anything that could have been better checked ... doubtful. Phil has an idea of what it was, however I don't think it's common knowledge what to check, or how (even though Phil's described one instance).

greetings Al, been in the USA working

Every time Uber lets the boys drive one of his 355's there's a drama.

Shit never thought of that, that would also apply to the SLS and Lambos.

Quote " In the July 2010 issue of Car and Driver magazine, safety specifications were revealed pertaining to the safety of the SLS AMG's gullwing doors. Ten to fifteen milliseconds after a detected rollover, explosive bolts situated at the top of the door frame fire and bell cranks separate the doors from the car for easy exit during a serious accident."
