Would that be the same for a 308 Phil, or only 328's and newer?

Just 328's... full stop.

Oz 308 QV's are mildy hamstrung (exhaust and ECU's/timing) , but nothing like as much as 328's.

348 and 355 etc are all the same to all intents and purposes.

The dumb ones are the Oz cars... at least swiss cars are LHD too, like USA... so production "sense" would have been to just do the LHD ones in low emission guise...

But to go to the trouble of doing a special RHD run of OZ only cars is DUMB.

And personally, to BUY an OZ car, after doing the correct research, to me seems DUMB.... When you can have such a better (uk) car and maybe even SAVE a few bucks!

I guess I should point out I don't want to offend any 328 OZ spec owners... :)

As a car, an Oz 328 is lovely... it's ONLY when you compare it to a UK spec, that it loses out in overall driver reward.....   on power and noise (and a few other less noticable things)

you can save a LOT of bucks....but i'd still never buy a non aussie delivered car if it that model came here.

that obviously doesn't apply to a 328GTB, but it does to a GTS.

you can save a LOT of bucks....

depends how you value your time and money placement....

and with LCT now at 33%... it makes it harder too....

Right now, a $30,000 pound car will owe you a fair bit over $100k shipped with insurance, landed here tax paid and registered... and you'll spend at least 30 hours maybe 60 on administration of the import/compliance/rego. AND, you pay for your car in the UK at least 3 months before you drive it legally here. Maybe 6 months.

It's only if you cut some corners (insurance) and know some people in high places, and do all the admin yourself, that you can do it and save a LOT of bucks... depending on how you value your bucks of course.
