good to know that according to phil, running a testa at 15.8:1 at WOT wont destroy and engine. mind you, anyone else would think it would.

why do people waste any money on engineering when they can just ask phil?

the very fact that it has been, for quite some time, ON TRACK, and hasn't "destroyed" itself, is testimony to your innaccuracy.

You should stick to being an air broker.

really??

and people use you as a mechanic?

what a crock.

make sure you tell the engine tuners that running at WOT with that mixture causes no problems, ok?

let me know what they say.

Please try to keep your story straight...

You started off by saying it would destroy the engine.

Now, you back flipped and are saying it will just cause a few problems.

Try to eat something with more fibre. Your bull shit is running all over the place.

Running that lean is begging for trouble. The fact is at those lean condition engine knock is inevitable and at those high temps its more then likely going to destroy the engine. You will probably cause the rings to crack, melt the spark plugs, and if you do get that one bad detonation then you could shoot a piston out the block Or at least bend most of your exhaust/intake valves and screw the crank.

If you know its running stupidly lean, why the hell are you still driving it

excuse me, sir. how dare you disagree with the grand master of truth and honesty, Mr Ferrarifixer?? he knows everything, and if he says running lean won't destroy and engine, then it won't.

how dare you! apologise now.

p.s. the above is sarcasm.

Were you using a wide band sensor?

that's the next thing, of course. was the analyser accurate?? the car goes very well...it'd be down on power quite a lot if it were that lean.
