BTW spannerman - the Ultima's had some work done in it by Kebab's mates - engine dyno'd at about 300 rwhp, looking for 400ish post rebuild. Clearly it needed more powers.

Yeah, I knew the rear main was pretty sad, but it needed more? I thought a quick fix to that woulda seen it right.

Anyway, now that you've rebuilt it, I'll say the LAST thing that monster needed was more power! It barely contained itself with regard to cooling as it was, so unless you've seriously upgraded the cooling system you're gunna be living a real hell!


And then there's the brakes... kinda ok but eek! And those R spec tyres MUST be hot before you want to stop in any kind of hurry.. with no weight on the front axle and too much power, you'll just skate up the clacker of whatever it was in front of you that DID stop!


Fuck me, that thing with 400+.... #shudder#....

Drive it safe on the road... VERY safe....
