Drive before you buy, they may be iconic; but the driving experience isn't that great.

mine is a 85, used in adel GP as the chase car, ex Ron Walker imported from UK. $30,000 option in the single lug wheels, dual mirror, red with beige, 18,000 miles from new.

name your price

There was no option of a single bolt wheel Brenton?
The 85's and 86's plus I think early 87's had single lug wheels. After that they all were 5 lug wheels. You couldn't pick and choose. I remember you had a choice of tyres but that was it.
Single high mirrors only lasted about 12 months or so, then they went 2 low mirrors. Again no optional choices.

I remember my old man waited 5 years from order to delivery!!

It actually made the whole experience very exciting compared to the instant gratification of today.
This was 1984 to 1989 remember. Production was low and demand went through the roof when the prices went crazy. A guaranteed delivery was worth a handsome stag profit.
My Father picked his up at the factory which was the experience of a lifetime back then. As he drove out the factory gate a bloke stopped him and offered him twice what he had just paid for the car, cost was £88k as I recall. The bloke was an English dealer :p

This is Very True.

My German contact did this with 2 x Enzo's back in the day.

I would suggest you take what they say with a grain of salt and rely on your own research.
