Asking for 87,900 which I think sounds cheap but not knowing what it needs done to bring it back to prestine condition. Also the car is located in blacktown nsw, so where would be the closest place to have the car inspected by somebody that has dealt with these cars before?

You didnt post a link, is that the one from the UK import place? The way our dollar is getting screwed its probably a great buy if its in good condition.

High Km's
Import
Looks tired

Offer him $60k IMO you are better spending more and buying something with lower kms and none import and in good condition otherwise you will be spending the money you saved on repairs.

It does look tired but the photos are not the best either...
Is import really that much more different.....?

Don't laugh....that's what I'd be doing. You'll probably be the ONLY person making an offer.

I love my car. Buy your own

Friend picked up an 02 360 spider red with 21000km local delivered car for $103k 3 weeks ago.

So an offer of $60k is pretty good for something that looks like it's about to fall apart. Remember most finance companies won't do finance on them they are old...so you are stuck with the option of a cash buy.

Also this car was is/was used as a wedding hire/and general hire with a driver etc...avoid.

The pictures are awful and don't show the car well.
If it's as good as the seller says it may be a good buy for $60 -70k. Probably worth a look.
The market on these cars is mileage sensitive but in reality if it's been meticulously maintained they are fairly robust ( for a Ferrari !)

I eventually sold an immaculate oz delivered 04 360 F1 Modena with 25k on the clock  last year for $113k but I had to put up with months of muppets offering me $50k or "will you swap it for an M3/Maserati " nonesense.

That being said if it was my money again I'd shop around as there's plenty of good oz delivered 360s with sensible mileage that could be had for $100k that won't be a massive arseache come trade in time.
